This act, however, is an ordinary part of each child's growth as it is a method to investigate and to learn how each child functions. Their body responds to touch and how other parts are more enjoyable. To rub a child's genitals it feels innocent and does not "false" or "evil."  The children receive these 'parent filters' from parents, sometimes the child is puzzled and worried.

The adults respond to the child just like they saw their parents or adults respond around them when exploring their bodies like infants.  And they still feel ashamed and guilty and never
have the chance of being confident with their sexuality.

Is it a ‘bad thing’ if women masturbate?

Women in India can never understand or easily conquer their sexual appetite from a cultural perspective.  Here, it's the pressure of shame and remorse that makes a woman feel pleasure. She's always easily called a "slut" by a woman who's confident with their sexuality.

Not many women in this country are confident with their sexuality and their bodies to balance this issue even today.  When it comes to an intimate relationship with their partners, they do not know their likes and dislikes.  Most women may not even know a certain part of their anatomy, known as the clitoris.  In sex education classes or conversations, the clitoris is also not listed, since women only have sexual pleasure with penetration.
The clitoris is a tiny, responsive erectile tissue organ in the women's reproductive system vulva. The heart is highly fragile and comprises tens of thousands of nerve endings. Masturbating stimulates the clitoris and produces sexual pleasure sensations.
